These courses allow you to fulfill your MCE hours via your home computer on your own time. Please note that these courses are for MCE credit only. They are not for SAE credit. If you are unsure as to what type of renewal hours are required for your license, please refer to your renewal notice from TREC or call TREC prior to starting your course(s). Once you complete the course(s) online, simply take the final exam online and fax the TREC Reporting Form to Alamo Title Company and we will notify TREC for you. The Texas Real Estate Commission has approved these mandatory continuing education (MCE) courses for existing Texas Real Estate agents. TREC Legal Update MCE - Online Exam Required! The purpose of this course is to ensure real estate professionals have a strong understanding of current legal issues and are able to avoid law violations in their real estate practice. This course covers the changes in the Texas Real Estate License Act related to the Acts Organization and the authority of the Texas Real Estate Commission, as well as, changes in the licensure and continuing education requirements. This course also covers title company relationships, solicitation, home equity loans, surveys, the Texas Residential Construction Commission, mold assessment & remediation, electronic signatures, recent court cases and revisions to existing TREC forms.
